Wedding photography Sir Walter Scott Steam Boat, Kerstin & Ross

Sir Walter Scott Steam Boat  Loch Katrine

14th May 2011 I had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Kerstin & Ross. The day started at the Highland Hotel in Stirling for the bridal preparation. It was a really nice day so we went up to the old jail to take some photographs and had some fun shots taken on Spittal st. From there we went to Brig O’Turk where I dropped off my vehicle and continued the journey in the Limo to the ferry terminal at Stronachlachar Loch Katrine. For the arrival of the groom Ross.

The ceremony took place on the steam boat, while it traveled down the full length of the Loch. It was good to photograph a wedding that was so different to a traditional wedding. It was just like a big day out. The weather was great, which made my job so much easier. Kerstin & Ross were great to work with, full of fun and very natural.

At the other end of the Loch the wedding party all jumped into a coach bus and went to there final destination which was Brig’O Turk town hall, where the reception was held. Finishing off a great day for a lovely couple.

Hi Gary,

Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you so much for all your hard work. Our photos are fabulous and a wonderful reminder of our perfect day! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and so did our guests - it is clear to see from your pictures. You did a great job capturing the day just as we wanted, very unobtrusively, which has resulted in lovely natural pictures.
Thank you again and we will certainly be recommending you and will be back in touch the next time we are looking for a photographer ourselves.
